Timothy Perry
As a founding member of the firm, Tim has established himself over the past eighteen years as one of Maryland’s most effective advocates, representing a diverse array of clients across the state’s legislative and executive branches, as well as county governments. His expertise spans budget and appropriations, complex procurement matters, and innovative legislative solutions tailored to meet clients’ unique challenges.
Before launching his government relations career, Tim served as an aide and then Chief of Staff to former Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr., the longest-serving State Senate President in U.S. history and a prominent figure in the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC). Since transitioning to private practice in 2006, Tim has played a pivotal role in several high-profile initiatives, including facilitating successful energy company mergers that defied Wall Street predictions, overseeing the establishment of the first new hospital in Montgomery County in thirty years, and contributing to Maryland’s sixth casino location with the expansion of gaming to include sports wagering.
Tim is a graduate of West Virginia University and the West Virginia University College of Law, where he previously served on the Board of Visitors. He actively contributes to the Democratic Governor’s Association’s (DGA) Finance Committee and has received numerous accolades for his professional achievements from both the Daily Record and the Baltimore Business Journal.
Tim is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and a member of the Board of Directors of First Fruits Farm, one of the East Coast’s largest nonprofit producers of free vegetables. Tim lives in Baltimore County.
